Inspired by Senator Obama's "Audacity of Hope" speech at the 2004 DNC, the brand captures the eternal nature of hope in the form of the eternal flame. This is intended to evoke a double meaning of both flame and flag, hope and country, passion and patriotism. The brand was used for Senator Obama's non-Senatorial website until his announcement as a 2008 Presidential candidate.
